Not sure this is my kind of thing, but we’ll see.

Such great stuff. We should all be more like Marisol. This woman has guts.
Does go a bit downhill towards the end, but that gets so typical. The neighbourhood community aspect is overdone.

I really like A Man Called Otto. I've watched it a bunch of times.

I will probably watch To Have and to Have Not.

The next movie I'll watch will probably be Confidential Report, the film noir by Orson Welles. It's on Freevee so that's cool, and how I'm watching it. The film sounds great. I know it isn't part of the Film Noir Hall of Fame thing Citizen is doing. I'll watch it anyway.

Was still a good movie for it's age.

Really excited about this one. Trying the Manchester Everyman.

For a solid hour, I felt this was a masterpiece. It felt like the kind of thing no one really does atm. I was mesmerised. Then it all got very which somewhat ruined it. But still, a very impressive thing indeed. Hat off.

Same. It was a bit strange and uneven. Still processing it. It did feel different.

The original is much better, I don't think the American remake could quite capture what was great about the original.

Well, that isn’t surprising. In my experience, not a single Nordic film was improved in the remake. Not sure that’s possible. But yeah, fair enough. Might eventually get to the original.
