MoFo Fantasy Football - 2024 Season

Tools

I've now lost with 118, 120, and 124 points this year.
Add 115 to the list.

Good enough to beat like two-thirds of the rest of the league, but the random number generator didn't pair me with any of them this week.

A system of cells interlinked
Pulled off a win, even with a low scoring week, but Brown is out again and heading in for an MRI. Fingers crossed!

I gotta fill that WR2 hole. Kenneth Walker III is available for an equally valued WR.

I can play Taysom Hill in my Flex.

Well it looks like I dont have to worry about my WR2 slot anymore.
Me and Hey Frederick made a deal, he gets Kenneth Walker III and Xavier Leggette (the new WR1 for Carolina) and I recieve Tyreek Hill.
Hopefully Tyreeks second half of the season will be better than the first half. Honestly it all depends if Tua gets another concussion...hopefuly he wont.

I lost by less than one point - AUGH!
Wrong QB, and wrong WR. Minimal difference each but either would have netted me the win. I betcha this loss will cost me the playoffs in the long run. Brutal.

Good win for me. Huge score as well. Second most ever for me. Was hoping to top 150 but oh well.
Hopefully I can keep the momentum going against PW and The Clowns. Tough road ahead, yet.

Anyone need a QB? I have Cousins and I’m willing to move him for a WR. I could throw in one of Hopkins, Cooper (keep in mind he does have a wrist injury atm) or Shakir. It would need to be a decent WR worthy of standing alongside with Deebo.

@Wyldesyde19
Well buddy, me and you are in the same boat. 5 losses each. I went back thru the league history and only 2 teams have won the championship with 5 losses. Empire had one and the Censored Clowns had the other. Raulds doesnt count as his real loss count was 4. Me and you have zero margin for error going forward, we must be undefeated to the very end. Nobody has won the championship with 6 losses.

Yep, but still is a chance for us to make the playoffs at least. However small that is.

At this point, I’ll be happy to make the playoffs and worry about advancing after. That worked out for me pretty well a few years ago.

There’s reason for optimism on both of our parts, as you get CMC back and that should inject some life into your team.

Achane is playing at a high level once again with Tua back, and Hopkins and maybe Cooper can add some production going forward. 5-1 finish isn’t outside of the question, but it depends largely on my next 3 games, barring injuries.

No one has missed this league’s playoffs after winning 8 games, so it comes down to which of us can finish strong and grab the last 2 spots, which to me, are wide open.
Clowns, Doomguys, PW, and Wide Right have the top 4 spots secured (barring a late collapse) so that means Raul, Sedai, Holden, you and me are competing for the last 2 spots.

It’s going to be fun!

@Sedai Good grab on Quentin Johnston. I was really hoping he would go under the radar this week, and get him.

If Jordan Mason is cleared to play I wouldnt be surprised if he and McCaffrey split time somewhat evenly going forward. May have to put Kamara in my Flex and play both San Fran RBs after this week.

Im looking, hoping, and needing a huge upset this week vs @Captain Spaulding . Have a feeling it will be up to if Tyreek Hill finally has a first rounder performance, Russell Wilson plays his best, and my Flex spot (Darius Slayton or Taysom Hill) not letting me down.
Darius is due for touchdown, but thats just hunch thinking with nothing to base it upon. If hes Out with a concussion then Taysoms my guy. If there was ever a player meant for the Flex spot on a roster, its Taysom Hill. He QBs, Blocks, catches the ball, and rushes. Like a white boy Ohtani.

Classic Cincy... guy puts up 4 tds and they still lose. But of course i have to go up against his 40 burger in fantasy. Of course smh... looks like half my team is hurt this week to. Help me Tom Cruise!

Chase scored 50, but Balt still won. I wanted that script flipped.
Yeah thats....impressive.

Surprised to get Dallas Goedert off waivers this morning. Hes returning this week with no injury designation.
I've got 3 startable Tight Ends. If anybody needs one send me an offer because the trade deadline is tomorrow.

The trick is not minding
59 points off of 2 players to start the week is obviously pretty great. Just need the other players to contribute enough on Sunday. I still have memories of PW coming from waaaay behind (like, literally almost 100 points behind) to beat me in 2021.
Still plenty of players left for both of us.

Matchups to watch this weekend in our league. These have playoff implications.

1.Wylde Wolves vs The Return of the Dark Decade
PW could still fight for a bye, while I need to win to gain “momentum”. A win puts me at .500 with The Killer Clowns waiting for me next week.

2. Doom Guys vs Love Brokers
Same as above in regards to playoff contention, except Holden is looking to widen the gap between himself from me and Tongo, while keeping pace or at least hope to leapfrog Sedai and Raul.
Holden has done a remarkable job so far, after starting 0-3 and finds himself suddenly in playoff contention.

3. Censored Clowns vs North Dallas Tongo
Spaulding is about as much of a lock here. But this really is about Tongo correcting his course before it’s too late. The return of CMC should help, but will it be enough?

4. Wide Right vs Titletown Champs
Sean is looking to widen the gap between himself from the rest of us, so he can ill afford another loss this week. Raul, on the other hand, is trying to avoid losing his 4th in a row. A loss could hurt both with several teams looming behind them. If Sean wins, he can breathe a little easier. If he loses, it isn’t far fetched he could slide down the rankings with Holden, myself, Raul, Tongo, and Sedai breathing down his neck fighting for the last few spots.

Well I was trying to give Adam Dallas Goedert for Josh Downs. Wait wait wait, and then he counters with Davonte Adams for Jordan Mason.

Accepted. Go figure lol, looks like my Flex is filled. I hope its enough as there is zero margin for error now.

If CMC is Out Sunday, Im done, but thats ok because at least then it will all be over.

I forgot to add one:

5. 11 Angry Men vs The Jackson 11
Yoda is just playing spoiler here. Sedai needs the win to stay ahead of the pack. Whatever happens, I predict Yoda will A) score 115-130 points, B) still lose, and C) remind us all how often he has lost this year despite having a high score.
