I'm doing awful in all my leagues except the guillotine league. Top 3 in points in that one but that doesn't mean jack squat. A nice bonus in my money league, this week is I beat the Commish, who only had one loss coming in and it wasn't a stinker win. We have the top two scores in the league. Made a note to myself: Never go WR/WR in rounds 1 and 2 again. Tyreek and Nico in two leagues...ugh!
Normally that’s a winning combo, so I don’t think many can fault you for that, to be frank. It’s just both had horrible luck this year. Nico with an injury, and Tyreek lost his QB early and the backups were inadequate. You also lost Rice early. Drafting in the third spot, I’d have grabbed Tyreek as well and wouldn’t have thought anything about it.

The issue seemed to me that you didn’t have a reliable RB, as Etienne regressed (and dealt with injuries I think) and Mostert was also injured early (wk 1 right?).
But it wasn’t like anyone knew how that would have turned out at the time. I think it was Spaulding himself that felt you had a great team (although I had serious questions about RB) and I think most of us expected you to compete again.

TLDR: you had a good draft, but injuries derailed what could have been a good year. Sometimes you can’t help that.

Good thing I wasn’t relying on Ferguson to win the matchup. Ruled out for the rest of the game during the first quarter due to a concussion.

PW beats Rauld in a squeeker! Hes getting good at that, beat me by an even less margin.

Poor Frederick. I finally realized though I could enlarge his team image on my phone, always wondered whst the hell that was. An upside down parrot drinking booze. whodathunkit?

Next week is gonna have even better matchups. Ive a bad feeling Parrot may knock me out of the playoffs, not that Kamara and Adams have been blowing down the doors for me. So far.

3 straight games where PW has won by less then 2 points. I’m actually rooting for him, with Justin as my next favorite, to win this thing. Just great teams this year

I checked to see if PW has ever won it, and theres a team Big Damn Heroes back in 2011 that won, but I cant remember who had that team. @Yoda do you remember?

Would be fun to win this just once. May have to stick around for one more season if i do. Doesn't seem right to not defend a title after waiting so long to get one. We'll see how it shakes out!

Sure wish i hadn't cut Hill. Sheesh. Guy went from barely playin and hurt in the first month to going batsh*t bananas bonkers. Oh well. Maybe thats why i usually lose. I hope my teams got enough juice to carry me thru. Good luck everybody!

I am rooting for PW to take the trophy this year. Great job with management this season, PW!

Anyways, I'll just call it inexcusable roster management for how PW beat me. To bench Love and Harris was just kind of stupid on my part

That was Mike's friend Jay.
Oh yeah. Well im very surprised PW has never won. Hey, if itll get him around here more often then im rooting for him too. 3 games in a row by less than 2 points, this may be destiny.

Ugh. Ugly RB2 Bye week. I either start Jerome Ford vs Pittsburgh tonight or Ameer Abdullah hoping he gets the start vs a tough Denver defense sunday.
Parrotheads winning against me is a real possibility.

Games to watch this week regarding playoff implications:

1. Wylde Wolves vs The Jackson 11*
(5-6) (6-5)
Sedai is looking to pull away from a crowded section where about 6 of us have legitimate chances to make the playoffs yet, with only 3 spots still up for grabs. I need a win to keep myself in contention. It’ll be difficult without Burrow and Brown out, but maybe Sedai will have a “down” week and Maye and Roschon can do…idk, something to avoid another loss.

2. Censored Clowns vs Titletown
(8-3) (6-5)
Spaulding is looking to fight for a bye, and still has a chance to do so, while Raul needs to win, much like Sedai above.

3. Love Brokers vs Wide Right
(6-5) (6-5)
Both would rather avoid another loss this week, as falling to 6-6 would make things difficult depending on the other teams results. A win doesn’t guarantee a lock, but it would go a long way to separating themselves from anyone who also falls to 6-6.

4. North Dallas Tongo Vs Parrotheads
(6-5) (0-11)
Frederick is just playing spoiler here, and would like to avoid finishing winless in our league. Tongo is looking better lately, and a win would help put him at 7-5 and on the right side of .500. Can he survive the bye week with key players out?

Oh man. This is ugly. QB, RB, and my kicker havent even got a total of 11 points, and its the 3rd quarter.

It’s A Classic Rope-A-Dope
Woke up to Pitt getting upset which helps my real team, Chubb finally putting up a couple TD and helping my fantasy team. Good start to the weekend.
