A big huge choir of people singing "Carol of the Bells" is just awesome.

And a metal version of "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy" (Just pick any of them) always kicks ass.

"Please Come Home for Christmas"

"Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" is my favorite of the ones I've grown up with. It makes me think about sitting around the fireplace with friends and family, which I value a lot more than gifts lately.

My favorite performance of one is the Morehouse Glee Club's version of "Betelehemu," an African Christmas song. It's a far cry from seeing them live, but you can watch a recording here:

My favorite performance of the song is Judy Garland's in Meet Me in St Louis...turns me into a puddle every time I watch it.

I'm so ignorant of musicals that I didn't even know the song originated from that movie! I should try to watch it this month.

Sleigh Ride. Originally an instrumental, lyrics were added a couple years later, but I prefer the instrumental version.
