believe they're gonna have a new one next year, cowards. Utah HC is a sick name imo.

they will come up with a name. they have to sell merch.

VGK finally drops their home win streak to Carolina, who scares me more than Winnipeg as far as a contender.

The story goes that NHL teams have shown their true colors by this point in the season...looks like Winnipeg and Carolina are juggernauts yet again (until they get to the playoffs) and the Blackhawks might get another first overall pick with how awful they have looked.

PWHL season started today. hoping to follow more closely this year.

All of this 4 Nations talk has me a little more excited than I anticipated...I'm curious how good these games will be come February

Playoff forecasting irritates me every year...ESPN for example:

UTAH playoff chances: 73% (way too high for a team fighting for a wildcard spot with numerous other teams)
LA playoff chances: 64% (way too low considering they are currently 2nd in their division)
NAS playoff chances: 8% (also way too high for being statistically tied for the worst team in the league)
CHI playoff chances: 0% (tied with Nashville in points percentage...what a dumb analysis system)
