MoFo Fantasy Football - 2024 Season

His team did just stop a 3 game skid, so I’m not on board with saying his team is the top team to beat quite yet. I’d say this year is wide open, in fact, with anyone who makes the playoffs having a legitimate chance. Especially the top four teams.
Spaulding has great depth, but I feel his team last year was more impressive. Actually, I’d say the previous 2 years were better. That’s says a lot about his talent as a manager here, though, as he’s had a heck of a 3 year run.

I’d put his team from last year right up there with Parrotheads 2020 and 2021 teams, but behind Yoda’s 2020 team of course.

Doomguys dealt a big blow this week with Breece Hall being held out for his game against Miami

The hits keep on coming for poor Doomguys.
Nabers apparently injured himself during yesterday’s practice (hip flexor) and is questionable to this week.
Bad time for injuries as he looks to see up a bye and playoffs around the corner.

Was just thinking that Jeudy is unlikely to replicate last weeks numbers….and then he promptly drops 10 points on that TD against me.
I fully expect to trail most of the day. Most of my players don’t play until tonight’s game and tomorrow night.
Need to be within 25-30 points by tomorrow night I’d say to have a chance with Burrow, Brown, and Ferguson playing.

Looks like Yoda will kick me from the playoffs for the second year in a row.

Just to make it clear, Im not dropping out of the Fantasy Football league due to any criticisms. Its just not fun anymore for me.

Unless Burrow, Brown and Ferguson can mount one heck of a comeback, looks like I’ll finish 7-7.
Wouldn’t make a difference anyways, since Sean looks like he’ll win his game. Needed him to lose.

Heh, it’s all good. Tough to sweep Yoda in this league. Even had I won, I’d still have been out since Holden has a better record, and Wide Right had more points.

I think I took over as the overall TD leader in our league for the second year in a row (I finished with 91 last year) so I’m waiting to see the results there.

Oh well, can’t complain too much. The opportunity was there. Just couldn’t close it out in two close games, but won a few other close games I shouldn’t have

I made the playoffs is Petey's league (RIP), so I am still forced to pay attention to FFB for a bit longer, but my team's lack of depth in this here league made sure I never really had a chance.

I still can't believe I started 0-3, and in those losses wasn't even coming close to breaking a hundred points, yet somehow ended up at 9-5. I finished first and second in my other two leagues (10-4 and 9-5), but those were much steadier campaigns. I thought I was cooked here eight weeks ago. And yet...

As for our playoffs, I’ll be rooting for PW, Justin, Holden and Sean in that order since they’ve never won it yet.

I actually did win it but with a different Yahoo account. I won it in 2013, just haven't since then.
