Movies you couldn't even finish.

I so badly wanted to walk out of Armageddon but couldn’t because I wasn’t driving.

Does falling asleep half way thru count? that would be Coyote Ugly
I fell asleep in the cinema during Holmes and Watson. When l woke up pretty much half of the audience had actually walked out.

A Serbian Film - I have never seen a movie this digusting

Sonic the Hedgehog 3,about 15 min was enough for me.

The trailer features "The Boys are Back in Town." That's all you need to know.

Mitchell and Webb had the best comedy Sherlock bits, but I don't know that I'd want to say a sketch extended to a feature-length film.

I can recall only two films where I fell asleep...The Hindenburgh with George C. Scott and Anne Bancroft and Insomnia with Al Pacino and Robin Williams

The upside of Insomnia is that it is, paradoxically, a soporific.

Really? Was it too slow or just not your thing? I thought it was amazing and far better than what I had expected.

For me, if I'm going to watch a film, I generally will finish it. Certainly there are times where I get half way through and then something comes up that needs done or whatever, or if I start a film before bed I might pick it up the next day or two.

The only two films where I consciously made an effort to just not finish them because I thought they were so plodding or pretentious or didn't have a lot of value were Russian Ark and Jeanne Diehlman (sp?). Both seem to be the type of film where they are playing with their audience in some kind of hazing loyalty test.

moviedvdfreak made that post over 20 years ago, I doubt you're going to get an answer at this late date BTW Master and Commander is an excellent film, one of my favorites, one of Captain Steels too.

lol, well Hell! I knew there was a reason these posts were timed stamped!

You're not the first to fall through the time dimensional wall

Little did OP know that 20 years later his post would get traction. You just have to be patient, kids.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon.

I was bored out of my mind with the first one already but this turned out to be the one time I left a movie unfinished that I can recall. Good Gawd...

I took my parents to see March of the Penguins (2005) - it was the last time I was with them in a movie theater - they both fell asleep.
The last time I went to a movie with my parents was Ordinary People. They came home and never said a word about it.
