Who gave the best or your favorite acting performance in Game of Thrones?

I went with Jack Gleeson. Others are good and maybe better actors, but Jack was just amazing as Joffrey.

Hard to vote for one. Jack Gleeson was indeed fantastic but Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Bolton was incredibly evil as well.

Unfortunately the poll allows only 12 options.

I'd put him above half of these, personally. Voted Charles Dance.

great

Mr. Dinklage gets my vote.
Overrated.

I don't get why people always tend to think evil characters are so hard to play, I think it's much more difficult to play a multidimensional and flawed character that people still care for and love.

It's between Charles Dance and Peter Dinklage for me.

RIP www.moviejustice.com 2002-2010
I always thought the end credits were able to do fantastic work, having to wait and sit through the whole thing for an hour before they got their cue to show up on screen. They showed great fortitude to sit through such a silly high school social gossip drama masquerading as a sword and sorcery thing, similarly to how Grey's Anatomy was also a high school drama social gossip thing masquerading as a doctor show.

Kudos to the great performances of the end credits. Well done!

Peter Dinklage is a peak actor

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain
Peter Dinklage gets my vote. So much nuance and intelligence in his performance. But Maisie Williams as Arya Stark is my favorite character. They keep teasing a sequel series about where she heads off to on that horse at the end. I'd watch that for sure. Whereas I'm pretty done with Tyrion.

Charles Dance gets my vote, I loved every scene he was in. I also liked Rory McCann as Sandor and Gwendoline Christie as Brienne, both notable perfomances.

He's tad "chewy" (over acting). His accent is a little stilted. His range is not that great. He did a fine job, but IMO he got bonus points for being a little guy who could. This was his signature role and I think we all know it (e.g., he is not going to be the next James Bond). His character got some of the best lines on the show and so Dinklage gets a boost for having been gifted with those lines (e.g., he didn't have to sell lines like, "But you want the bad pussy"). Also, the character is himself and underdog, which engenders bias for the character as well as the actor.

Thanks for expanding. I've seen him in a few of the 90-some titles he's been in. Favorite is the quirky She Came to Me. I think he can usually be counted on for solid performances and is especially good at delivering wry lines with the right amount of deadpan expression. I also admire his insistence on being cast as an actor, not as a little person. Most of the roles I've seen him in (discounting GoT) he is just a a person and few references are made to his stature. His also garnered some critical praise for titles like The Station Agent (which I've yet to see), Three Billboards Outside Ebbings, Missouri (which I like a lot) and Cyrano (not so much). With more exposure he might grow on you. (Pun intended.)
