Zero Day (Netflix)

This is reportedly the first TV miniseries that Robert DeNiro has ever done. Aside from that, it seems like an intriguing subject. I definitely plan to watch.

Wait, did I catch that right? DeNiro is playing an older "ex-president" who is now leading the investigation into a worldwide terror/cyber attack? And some people question his mental fitness? And Angela Bassett is playing a female woman of color president?

I'm assuming they finished this before the election, because... awkward.

Looks good in many ways, but I'm not a big DeNiro fan, so I'm cautiously optimistic at this point.

Well, sure, but while writing the characters, you can't tell me there was *no* influence on their choices...

Not gonna comment on anything until after I've watched the series. I don't usually watch trailers even when I've shared them, prefer to remain as unspoiled as possible.
