2025 MoFo Fantasy Baseball: Draft/Signups

Tools

If you need someone I can join. I did have fun. Issue that arrived was last year I became so busy at work during the summer it wasn’t easy to keep up with it everyday.
But I can join and will try to be more competitive this year.
Oh, and March 8 works just fine for me.
All we need you to do is be alive and keep talking ball in the threads like you will anyway. However effective you manage your team , God, thank God thats not a requirement.
I hope you stay though. The more we all know in the league, the better

Alright, sign me up!

(depending on how much we want to rudely impinge on Lamb's enjoyment of baseball)

Ha, I'll be okay. There are several other factors contributing anyway.

By the way, is it possible to reply directly to a post comment?

Trying Real Hard To Be The Shepherd
Anyone interested in a money league? If I get 10 people I will run it through Yahoo.

I actually talked to TONGO's friend a bit already. Before I saw @Wyldesyde19 's response, too.

So I guess whichever of you MORE wants to Not Play, let me know so I can sort out what we're doing! But if you both actually want to (it's very common to be all 'meh' until spring starts up...), let me know ASAP so I can tell them nevermind.

By the way, is it possible to reply directly to a post comment?
No, it's the only mode of communication really just designed for a quick "BTW," I use it mostly for things that don't require responses. But there is a little PM link next to it in your User CP if you want to.

If we end up with an odd number i could ask another coworker. Hes the actual store manager though and is very busy. He did used to play baseball in the minor affiliates.

Possibly/probably, depending on time and settings.

Someone maybe recruited me for another one last night too. So it also depends on that, since three sounds doable but four might be a bit much. But I'm interested.

I can step down. It’s no problem
I would strongly prefer you, as an existing owner and regular MoFo.

I say that not in a pressuring way, but just to make clear that it's 100% your spot and I think everyone would rather you take it, excepting only if you genuinely didn't want to/thought you had to just to keep the league afloat or something.

Also possible it could be both, depending on @LAMb EELYAK who expressed both a willingness to play but some reticence. So let's give Lamb a chance to weigh-in, too. But my first choice is obviously for everyone to come back/MoFos to play as much as possible.

I agree

I’d like to join sure, I had fun last year.

Okay, cool.

So Lamb, it's your call: if you think you'd enjoy baseball more, we've got someone lined up to take your spot. But it is indeed your spot unless/until you're sure you'd rather give it up. Just lemme know in the next day or so, if you could.

Heh, yeah, I am starting to get the itch, and I'm sure all miss playing with all you fine folks, but I think on the whole I'd still rather sit it out.

Okay, got it. Fair enough. You'll likely be welcome back next year if you decide. I'll tell TONGO's friend he's in, then.

Alex Bregman to the Red Sox. @Sedai how does that make you feel?
I like Alex, so we shall see how this all plays out. I don't see them moving Devers around, so I am unsure how they can best use Alex. He's expensive for a DH...

I don't tend to draft many Sox, but who knows - every year is different

He's going to play 2B apparently. He and Boras floated the idea earlier in free agency that he'd be open to moving off of 3B.

That said, Bregman is a much better defender than Devers, so we have a new A-Rod/Jeter situation in the AL East.

Devers is also not much of a leader as far as rallying the team, which is perhaps something Bregs can get going. The Sox need a guy like him.
