I'm looking for a move that I watched before 2006. I believe it was from Spain. Here's the story:
The father has a crush on his son's girlfriend/fiancé (the son and her are both around 20-25). She knows about his advances but rejects him. The son is clueless.
All 3 live in the same home. However, something happens and the couple goes to a hotel. The father suspects that they'll get intimate and is trying to sabotage them.
He calls the police from a street phone and says that there's a bomb in the hotel. For whatever reason the police dispatcher doesn't believe him. The father gets frustrated and at the end says something like "Fine! Let it explode then!" before hanging-up the phone. At that moment a real bomb explodes around. And the father says "Wow, the neighborhood really is terrible!".
