Juno

Director by the same guy who made Thank You For Smoking - the plot is basicly knocked up but it's about the girl and she's a teenager who still lives with her parents.

looks pretty funny , defintly on my list of movies to see

Yeah, this looks nothing like Knocked Up. Just because there's an unplanned pregnancy in the film does not make it the same plot. That's like saying Cujo and Lassie are the same because they both have dogs in them.

Juno is the new film written by Diablo Cody, a young screenwriter that has been getting a lot of buzz lately. From what I have read about the writer and the project, it doesn't have much to do with Knocked Up. I am changing the title of the thread, as this film is not Knocked Up 2.

Lost in never never land
Yeah, Knocked Up and Juno have little more in common then they have unplanned pregnancies and they are comedies, albeit comedies of very different types. However, I do think that Juno looks very good and I'm waiting to see it when it comes out.

Interesting history on the writer. She was an exotic dancer until she took the plunge and got into writing film.

Before

After

I think she is quite fetching.

Well nice evolution for this writer...

I thought the trailer for this was hilarious! I can't wait to see this movie. I loved Thank you for Smoking. Nice Job Sedai on finding out about the screenwriter! She looks much better now.
