I'm sorry, Spud. Illinois just isn't the greatest, period, whether it's northern or southern. Chicago itself is cool, but we're about six hours away from it, so it might as well be in another state.

My sister used to live in Decauter, so I know all about the fun fun state of Illinois. You have to remember though, I live in Kansas. Alaska has more to do than Kansas.

That's it. I mean I got pissed when people couldn't understand why I was into Spider-Man so much. I dont' even like Daredevil and I'm defending the piss out of it.

Sorry. This is getting way out of hand. This seems to be a problem with me. I let things go to far, and I end up feeling Sh*tty, and I have to apologize. I dunno what's going on in my head a lot of the time. I don't think, much of the time, I just react.

Ooooh. You go boy. That movie rocks around the clock. I love Leatherface. I recently met Edwin Neal, the Hitchhiker, at a horror/sci fi convention. He was the greatest. I'm about to mail him a picture of us there, as a matter of fact. But I'm not trying to brag. I just love Texas Chainsaw Massacre! It's one of those childhood favorites.

New York is lovely. there's actors all over the place, and they're all looking for work. I've never been to L.A. before, so i can't say. An old friend of mine goes to USC, though - she says it's a fantastic school, and the atmosphere is great if you have a car.

That's pretty cool that you're interested in going to film school here. NYU is really, really, really cool - i took a tour a few months ago. Also, if you're like me, and your grades are ****, you could check out American University in DC, or the University of Virginia - both have good film programs.

Of course, I probably won't get into any of the schools for academics, but i'll probably get in eventually. i don't know. i've decided that i'm applying to all the top schools in the country when i graduate, because none of them will expect a kid with a 2.0 grade average and 1200 SATs to be applying. I figure that I have the element of surprise in my favor.

Highlights: pool's ready...it shall ease the pain of this heat. Wrapping up a freelance project...the guy's so happy with the work that it looks like he'll be paying me more than we agreed upon. Completely laughing my a** off last night.

Lowlights: it's still hot out...

After the initial discourse of the discussion[s] it got pretty bloody funny.

Highlights: it's cooled down significantly. Had a good workout today. Been back on the diet since yesterday morning after a few weeks off. Talkin' to some friends online...getting more freelance work offers (woohoo!).
