Yeah pretty impressive stats Rodent, 130 reviews and near 200 films.

There's numerous films out there, and others in my reviews thread that aren't in that 94 that I would hold dearer to my heart though. Jurassic Park and The Lost World being two of them, they're not in the list but they're certainly faves of mine.

The 94 in that list are the ones I've rated highest percentage wise in my reviews thread, but it is relatively close to being a Favourites List.

I'll have a quick edit in a minute and put my Top 10 in Red and my faves out of that list in Blue... just a mo...

I'm glad that you didn't underrate Casino (if you mean Scorsese's Casino).Although it has lots of similarities with Goodfellas,it's still good.

And why The Shining didn't get that last percent?

Also,Saving Private Ryan is visually stunning and probably the most beautiful war film I've seen but, as for it's content,it's a bit Hollowood-ish for me to get a maximum score.

The rest of the ratings are good.

Shelley Duvall knocked a point off The Shining. She's just too pathetic and snot covered. Even Kubrick had a go at her a couple of times.

That's really a great list; a lot of these made mine as well. A few others like The Untouchables, Innerspace, Trainspotting, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Rocky, The Green Mile, and Ghostbusters almost made my list. A few more I liked a lot but forgot about like The Karate Kid, Dead Calm, The Lost Boys, Dante's Peak, The Abyss, and The Goonies. I have The Lord of the Rings trilogy on DVD but haven't seen it yet. The only ones I've seen that I didn't like were Blade Runner, Alien 3, Avatar, and Gladiator. But the popularity of those films says that I need to give them another try. That's a really cool varity of movies.

I also haven't seen any Harry Potter or Pitates of the Caribbean films. I've only seen the 1st Batman with Jack Nicholson and the original 3 Star Wars films. I haven't seen any animated films in maybe 30 years. These are generally not my type of movies as I like darker, more adult themed fare. However, I saw X Men: First Class and Rise of the planet of the Apes and loved both of them, so I'm trying to have more of an open mind.

Pirates Of The Caribbean are decent movies. The fourth one is pants though, which is why it's not in this list.
Star Wars Ep 1 & Ep 2 are a bit rubbish though, the third one is the best of the 3.

If you liked Burton's Batman you'll like Nolan's take on the franchise. Great movies. The three of them made my Top 15.

I think it's natural,they are alike in some ways.

I also thought that I will not like LOTR because I'm not a huge fan of fantasy but I was amazed how great and breathtaking it is.I wasn't impressed with the first part but other two are just stunning.So in case you don't like it,don't give up and watch the rest two.

Also,if you like "darker" movies,you must see The Dark Knight.Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban can also be called dark and more adult.It's definitely more serious than previous two films.

As for Pirates,it's just very entertaining.
