need help with the name of this movie - 70's/80's horror

Hi all!

This is my first post. I remember watching this movie when I was younger and have always wanted to watch it again now that I'm an adult, but I can't remember the name of it.

I think it's an 80's (maybe late 70's) horror movie where a car with 2-3 girls breaks down and they find this house to walk to where they end up staying. I can somewhat remember three things from the movie:

The first is there's someone/something living in the basement and at one point one of the girls gets locked down there with it and there's piles of clothes all over.

There's one scene where one of the girls drops a bowl of grapes or something on floor and there's this vent in the floor where the thing downstairs can see her.

Then the final thing I remember is a vent in the wall of one of the bedrooms and one of the girls is getting ready for bed or something and the thing can see her, etc...
