OK, i go offline one night and you guys just skip over me? I'm back and here's a clue to mine: She was an MGM contract player who appeared in musicals with Judy Garland and Gene Kelly.

No idea who the black and white chick is. Clues are too vague.

She was also known for doing very funny, patter-like songs with a totally deadpan face...her film credits include Panama Hattie, The Harvey Girls, Ship Ahoy, and Lady Be Good. She made her final film appearance in the 1976 film Gus and she passed away in 2001.
