Movie You're Watching Tonight

I’ve always thought, blasphemously, that this is the best adaptation. Everything just seems to work better here than in the Firth version.

This is a fun one.

I can't decide between Killers, with Burt Lancaster and Ava Gardener, and Voyeurs, with Sydney Sweeney. Both sound interesting, although I'd wager more people would choose Killers because it's a 1946 film noir and Voyeurs is some new thing with a blonde bombshell. Maybe I'll decide after dinner.

I'm watching Killers right now. I needed to pause to help with kiddos so I'll probably wait until they're in bed, which will be soon, to resume, and subsequently finish, it. I'm hooked in the story so I'll have to see how it goes. I can probably watch Voyeurs at some point tomorrow or Monday.

Yeah I do more than watch films, so I don't always sit down and watch them all day. Watching films is still a good way to spend time and I like to do so. I just have other vetted interests that take up my days as well. This is just why I don't always get to films I say I'll watch.

Yes. Several of us here have already watched it.

A ridiculously exhausting day and it’s barely 2 pm. Travelling yet again (when will this end?) for work for the next 4 hours, but hoping to watch this late at night and disconnect. But first mucho vino and dinner. All hail 23.30 screenings.

My parents were just raving about this film last night. What a coincidence. Never seen it so added to my watchlist.

King of Comedy as a straight drama.

I quite liked this, but it’s been a while.

This is very good. Some plot elements are similar to Alone. There’s got to be a name for genre of horror where the . Seems rather unprogressive to me, heh.

I found a low-budget, maybe shoe-string-budget, probably-amateur film called Hideout on Freevee last night. I started it, overestimating how awake I was. Hopefully I can finish it tonight. It was interesting, although with some issues, like a bullet wound that didn't bleed, a bullet in the wound that obviously wasn't fired, and not showing the important thing they discussed. At one point a passed-out person was gone, and then he was back, still passed out. Um... Still it's fine overall. I'm curious to see how it goes.

The story is that four people rob a small store and then find a secluded house that someone somehow knew was there despite no one knowing each other, so the robbers are hiding there after the robbery. That's as far as I got so far.
