Haha I have heard. The boat scene isn't even a critical part of the movie nor is it something to awe at, it's just the one part I remember.

this reminds me of a movie with william devane http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001137/ i cant remember if it was a young lad who had witnessed a murder by criminals or whether he witnessed a cop shoot a kid {the cop thought he had a gun but it was a water pistol or something} and another cop covered it up but either way william devane plays a retired cop who takes the kid into witness protection {devanes house} which is a tiny island with a house but the bad guys find them and they get away in his speed boat. iv looked through his filmography and it appears to be missing, il check with wikki

I doubt it is with William Devane, unless it is in his filmography and he missed it. It would be very unusual for the imdb to leave out a movie a well known actor starred in.
