Favorite Stephen King Movies (And Books)

Chappie doesn't like the real world
They could do something like A Game of Thrones where each season is based on a different book in the series.
That's what I would prefer to see.

For me the Shawshank is probably the best film ever made, really like The Mist as well and The Shining.

Victim of The Night
Books, I love Pet Sematary, 'Salem's Lot, Cycle Of The Werewolf, the short story collections Night Shift, Skeleton Crew, and Different Seasons, and his examination of Horror Danse Macabre.

Movies, in order I guess, from best to worst of the ones I will even watch:

The Shining
The Shawshank Redemption
Carrie
Creepshow
The Dead Zone
Misery
The Mist
Salem's Lot
Christine
The Running Man
Pet Sematary
Children Of The Corn
(it's not very good but I have a soft-spot)

I need to rewatch Needful Things, I've heard it's better than I remember.

What with all the news about King adaptations, the revival of this thread is no surprise. I've been thinking about checking out another King novel after getting through Antimatter Blues and Good Omens, but I have to finish Rabbit is Rich first (looks like Updike's disappointing me again). As for books, It is currently ranked as my number 1, and The Shining is close behind. Other five stars are Misery and Carrie.

Movies:

1. It (2017)
2. The Shawshank Redemption
3. The Green Mile
4. Carrie

Not in my top 5 by rank, but The Shining is one I watch regularly.

Stand by Me (so human) and The Green Mile ("too much" I get it but still moving)...

I see only one other poster got them right
