Squirrels. We have a bird feeder we thought was out of their reach, but they managed to find a way to climb on it and shake it so the seed falls all over the deck.

We built a squirrel feeder for them last year with a door they can open so they can take out the sweet, sweet peanuts inside. Not only did they eat all of them within minutes, they not only moved the little glass window in front of the peanuts after we refilled it again so that they all spilled out on the ground, but they also confiscated the window, this rendering the feeder useless.

They are insatiable and relentless.

I made a bird feeder squirrel proof. I took the feeder and hung it with thin fishing line from a tree branch. It was far enough away from the tree trunk that the squirrels couldn't jump to it and the diameter of the fishing line was so thin that they couldn't climb down it.

Nice, I should try that or give the spicy seed that the squirrels don't like another try. Last time I did the latter, though, the birds didn't eat it, either!

I guess they’re just trying to survive.

I like squirrels fine but the problem is they can empty a bird feeder of seeds in a day. They can take so much and so fast that people who enjoy feeding birds give up on it. They don't eat all the food either, but stash it away. They will stash as much as they can get.

Monkey nuts keep squirrels busy for a while because they have to bugger off to bury them. Unless the magpies get there first...

I always put some monkey nuts out with the normal bird seed.

monkey nuts? what's that? I've not heard of that before.

They have squirrel proof bird feeders that I used to buy. None were 100% but some helped.

A good solution to this annoyance is try listening to some actual music rather than just a bunch of spoken profanity that displays no skill or talent. Search out real music that consists of (not just rhythm and drum beats) but melodies and harmonies as well.

Listening to uplifting messages within song as opposed to the hatred, racism, misogyny, homophobia and violence contained in most "rap" would also most likely improve your outlook on everything.

Massive assumption isnt it. “Rap” is the genre I listen to probably the least but on odd occasion I like the energy word play and beat of certain tracks and one of these is “Tobey” and I will likely stay away from anything with too much of what you are saying. You really picked the wrong person for this speech you sausage. My favourite music is all melody and harmonies if you cared to know or enquire 🙄 I could list a hundred tracks for you but done here, just all totally badly judged..
