OMG, what is gong on? Extremely talented character actor who never had the career he deserved. Loved Taggert of course I also loved him in She's Having a Baby and he was rolling on the floor funny in Midnight Run, coming this close to stealing the film from De Niro and Grodin. I don't believe all the loss this weekend. RIP.

I know. I loved him in Midnight Run---just a great movie all-around but he was especially fun in it. He was great as Eric Stoltz's gruff dad in Some Kind of Wonderful and in the just-okay Bevery Hills Cop II, he had the best line in the whole movie near the end, "Women." You have to see it to get the joke but it's a great one and most definitely would not fly today's sensitive society. I liked him in everything I saw him in. Godspeed, John.
