Have you watched The Skeleton of Mrs Morales?

Hmm I don't know with you.

I know you have seen Men by Alex Garland. I believe it was a nominated for a HOF.

What about vampire films? Abigail is an interesting take. There is a lot of blood but not scary. It's entertaining.

The Invitation is an interesting take as well.

Ready or Not is fun. Same people made Abigail.

I don't know you tastes yet, do you prefer English-language over others? Classics or contemporary films?

You totally should! It's hard to believe the original Universal horror films are almost 100 years old. They still stand up quite well, imho.

I can understand they're valuable IP and the studio needs to remake them every so often, just hope the new versions inspire at least a few folks to check out the originals.

That does sound very promising.
I think he's very good director. I loved Upgrade and I went into that film knowing very little about it. I like his spin on The Invisible Man. You know a director is good when he picks actors you tend to hate based on the character they play. I don't like Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
That’s an interesting take but I do agree. I didn’t like ‘Invisible Man’ much but could still appreciate what it’s trying to do, to a degree. His other stuff I like much more. ‘Upgrade’ is great. ‘Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde’ is such an unusual one to pick, too. I quite liked the Dougray Scott version with its odd homoerotic vibes, but I feel like Whannell should be able to do a much better job.

Have you seen " Cooties"?

It's such great fun.

Leigh plays a character in it. He's in several films.
Nope, never seen this. Added to watchlist.
