Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice

Sure there is. He's called the "big blue boy scout." He gets his powers from the sun. A single frame of him being angry isn't setting a different tone.
It's more like whatever we can sell based on an ancient character that had many iterations.

Does Jared Leto's Joker (And Robin - - Sort of) Appear in Batman v Superman???

Recently Ben Affleck was spotted on set of Suicide Squad so most likely as rumors have been floating for months ...

WARNING: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice/Suicide Squad" spoilers below
Batman will be in Suicide Squad

Also according to reports....

WARNING: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" spoilers below
The Joker will appear in a flashback scene in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and it will show us just how the Joker ends up in prison, and it also will give us some insight into why the Batman we see in Zack Snyder’s film is such a screwed up individual.

Apparently, the flashback scene will feature the Joker beating the hell out of Robin and killing him, which comes from the 1988 Batman comic story arc "A Death In The Family," which focused on the Jason Todd version of Robin.

Remember this scene in the trailer?

Robin's outfit is hanging in the Wayne Manor if you look carefully.

The report continues

WARNING: "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" spoilers below
We will also be seeing the Jason Todd Robin costume in a glass casket somewhere on Wayne property, which would possibly trigger this flashback. Regardless of what triggers it, the complete story of how the Joker ended up behind bars at the beginning of Suicide Squad will get explicit context in less than a year.

It could easily be that Affleck is a nerd and was just checking stuff put.

What a bat's spose to look like. ☝

So, Batman is a Cylon?

I have to return some videotapes.
I'm really looking forward to Leto as the Joker. Love him as an actor, he can be in pretty weird roles. Hopefully he doesn't disappoint like many are thinking.

I like Batman much more, but come on if they were actually fighting then Superman would obviously win.

Doomsday WILL appear as one of the main villians. As for the " Do you bleed" scene in the film that we've seen in the trailer, it's actually a dream sequence.

Agreed, plus in the comic it's actually Green Arrow who "beats" Superman by hitting him with a kryptonite arrow anyway.

Ummm, No. I thought we are beyond this nonsense? If you want to go with that logic it still fails, because after Green Arrow hits him with kryptonite (Batman built and supplied Green Arrow with it) Batman still gives last punches...

Like the others are saying, I think they're trying to cram way too much in.

The movie's called "Batman vs. Superman" and so far in addition to them, we've got

Doomsday
Wonder Woman
Aquaman
Cyborg

And now possibly:

Joker
Robin
Maybe even Lex Luthor (since he was casually referenced in Man of Steel)

Here's hoping they take a cue from Marvel, and release DVD extras which delve into the backstories of these characters, instead of trying to cram 8-9 superheros/villains along with their backstories into a 2 hour movie.

Or just make it an hour longer; I don't see the need to limit it to a strict 2 hours anyway, it's not like people aren't going to see it (the Dark Knight Rises was 2H 45M long and it was a blockbuster).
