I don't like popularity contests.
Welcome to life.

But it's really just a way for us to get together and share our favourites, and then get an idea of what the favourites of the forum are. I see you have a top 10 list so just do that for docs and send it my way.

Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

I haven't really enjoyed the lists in the past. I may warm up to the idea eventually. But also I don't think I could make a list of 25 documentaries that I enjoyed.

The animation list disappointed me more than Christmas without my father...

They always disappoint me, but that's beside the point. We are members of this forum, we are this forum, these are supposed to be the collective opinion of the forum (or us). It's not going to be perfect. And you don't have to submit 25, 10 is the minimum.

But I'm not going to try and convince anyone anymore. If you're in, great. If not, oh well.

Trouble with a capital "T"
I have enjoyed all the Countdown list, they are a high mark at MoFo and something I look forward to. I'm not a fan of animation but I still submitted a partial list and followed that Countdown.

Like Harry just said, "We are members of this forum, we are this forum"...and so it's up to us to make the most out of these Countdowns by participating in the best way that we can.
I'm looking forward to the Documentary Countdown

Hey, wait a minute... the JACKASS movies are considered documentaries......

How am I supposed to know if something I may watch was released in a theater? This is why I see no point in even caring about this countdown. If it's going to be too complicated, then to Hell with even bothering.
