Do you men that the mere existence of this remake somehow ruined the original film? Or just that it is a massively inferior remake of the original film?

But I am a fastidious completist, so I'll watch the remake. Then at least I can go on and on about how awful it was!
He looks awful in this new movie. Pre change shot.

Pretty sure they showed the ending there.
Terrible movie, can't wait to see the exciting trailer.

The Crow is one of those franchises where a remake was inevitable. The real issue is getting Rupert Sanders as a director, and whether or not he's learned from the experiences involving his last two movies and the reception therein.

Meh. So he's not a martial artist, not acrobatic, and basically a heroic zombie with a gun. Meh. Skaarsgards a good actor but he doesn't have Brandon Lee's raw charisma either, or sex appeal.
Maybe those that never saw the first may like it but those that have can't forget it. We're talking about a breakthrough performance on par with Heath Ledgers Joker. It looks like they put alot of work into this, but the foundations flawed. I hate to say it but this role shouldn't have gone to a great actor but instead a movie star, with swag and believable athleticism. I guess they all can't be winners, but this formula shouldn't be so hard to grasp.

Director defense movie ahead of opening that is expected to draw terrible reviews.
For what it's worth, the reviews are embargoed until 7pm ET tonight, so don't expect they'll have anything nice to say.
Almost feel sorry for everyone involved in this movie already...
The Crow director dispels misconceptions about film: 'This is not a remake. It is wildly different.'

Sounds like someone has a Brandon Lee tattoo.
The Crow was good, but it’s no Rapid Fire.
😜
