I have a few of her albums, but not all. I stopped buying CDs a few years back and switched to streaming, but I have listened to all her albums.

Of course she is. She might not be a musical genius not a great performer, but she plays the Showbiz game well. There's a peculiar kind of talent in being able to climb the greasy pole to pop stardom.

By the way, the greasy pole image comes from part of the ceremony in the US Naval Academy in Annapolis.....all those athletic middies trying to get the hat at the top of the greased pole (literally) and whoever does is said to be the first admiral in that class. If Swift were a Middie she'd climb the pole and grab the hat, but she went into music instead. I don't think she'd make much of an admiral.

Her music is pretty boring but she does seem to have an army ready to go to war if her name is besmirched. You’ve got to admire that.
I do like how her very existence as a young, beautiful and successful woman seems to aggravate some men into insensibility. That’s pretty amusing.
Who knows she may end up running for president in ten to twenty years. Wouldn’t that be a kick in the pants.
