Rules that should exist on MovieForums

Heres one of mine - Nobody should be able to make a thread unless they have an avatar.

Why though?

I don't get why people don't have avatars? When I see a post without an avatar I'm thinking the person was banned...or is selling Mumbai escort services.

I actually like this idea as a serious suggestion - all threads created that day could all be deleted the next day so there's no evidence of who said what (and less hurt feelings).

It could be like that episode of Star Trek where everyone in the very polite and reserved town goes absolutely mad on one specific night, but by morning they all return to their uptight clothes and manners (I think that was the one with "Landru").

Hard cap on the number of threads you can create in a day/week.

If you want to spam the forum, the Shoutbox is the place.

That's a good one. It would let a new thread have a chance to breathe and make people put more thought into what they will or won't make when starting threads.
Also cut back on spam Spam bad.

I think at minimum we'd need an exception for the Movie Questions forum.
