RIP Quincy Jones, 91
Wow, he was a great song writer . He wrote one of my favorite early 80s song that is featured in a movie.
I have a cd called "From Q, with Love". It's a collection of songs he wrote by the original artists that performed them.

OMG, another show business legend! I just watched Ray last night where he was depicted as just a trumpet player, but boy did this guy become so much more. My condolances to Rashida and the rest of her family. There will never be another Quincy Jones. RIP

What a long, full career he had! Whenever I think of Jones, my mind immediately goes to his album The Dude, which had several great songs, including this one he produced and was performed by James Ingram:
Other great works for me by Jones are the In the Heat of the Night soundtrack, the Sanford and Son theme, Michael Jackson's Off the Wall album, and just too many songs, albums, soundtracks and gigs as musician with musical greats throughout the years. Also, one of his greatest productions was Rashida Jones, with all due respect.
A musical great that will be hard to be surpassed. Godspeed, Quincy.
