Favorite On-Screen Couple?

Forget about real life. Just on the screen. For me, it's easy. Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni. They made a lot of movies together. Most are great, even though there's one where Marcello plays a gay guy! Still a great couple.



My favorite romantic movie is easily "Sunflower", too.

Ali MacGraw and Jan-Michael Vincent in the 1983 miniseries Winds of War. There was just great chemistry there. Been my fave ever since it first aired.

I just seen Sophia Loren with Gregory Peck in the visually stunning Arabesque (1966).

I thought so too, but it still spoiled the film for me that they became lovers. Although I thought it generally tailed off in the second half anyway.
Certainly one of the great friendships though.
