Paul Newman disliked "The Silver Chalice", his first major film, and even apologized for making it. He thought the movie was terrible and placed a newspaper ad asking people not to see it

Anyone who has watched Elizabeth Taylor: The Lost Tapes will hear La Taylor refer to BUtterfield 8 as "a piece of sh*t."

I can't remember which one it was, The Woman in the Window, or Scarlet Street, maybe it was both, but apparently Edward G. Robinson was dismissive of his work in one, or both, which surprised me as I thought it showed off some of the best acting of his career.

Also, Christopher Plummer used to refer to the Sound of Music as "The Sound of Mucus".
