To Star Trek fans (I'm talking the 20th century stuff) Tony Todd was a beloved recurring character on Star Trek The Next Generation and Star Trek Deep Space Nine playing one helluva awesome Klingon named Kurn. Kurn was Worf's (Michael Dorn) brother.
Tony Todd also was guest starred in one of the best Star Trek Deep Space Nine episodes The Visitor (1995) This time playing a human in a different time frame.
I always enjoyed his screen presences anytime I seen him in just about anything.

Oh no. Loved him as Kurn and the older Jake Sisko. He had such a resonant voice. RIP to another legend.

A sad day. But after all he was extremely prepared… knowing so much about Death and all.
No but really, I grew up on the Final Destination movies and I always loved his mysterious role in those films. I saw Candyman later in my life but really enjoyed him there too. The Rock was another one I grew up on and remember him there too.

Sad news. Candyman, in which he played the titular role, was one of the most memorable movies of my childhood. R.I.P.
I remember Tony playing Worf's brother Kurn in TNG and he was great. I knew he played Candyman but I've yet to see it. I did see him as Ben in the 1990 Tom Savini remake of Night of the Living Dead and he was great in it. In fact, due to his and Patricia Tallman's roles in the film, plus some great twists, I prefer this one over the original (I know, blasphemy!). I know I've seen him in many other things but I just can't bring them to mind right now. But I liked him very much. Godspeed, Tony.
