Question - What was the first Countdown ever done on the site? I imagine its outdated and yall might want a redo. Itll save you time deciding.
Have a look. All the countdowns have the dates from when they were done. The oldest countdowns are at the bottom of the list, newest at top.

It seems like the Horror list was the first one, there was another one made in 2019, I can't believe I missed it. I don't think we'll be doing one again which I understand.

Let's just go with 90's. Though I might not watch a lot of 90's movies. I got a top 25 in my top 100 and I don't want anymore 90's movies involved in it.

Crap. I was gonna vote Sports
I respect your favorites list. If we had you for the Big Fat Phoney Top 100 Action Movies Countdown, we mighta got some martial arts movies on there.

I'm pretty sure the 90s is the oldest one we haven't already re-done. All time and horror have had do-overs, and movies of the millennium became the 2000s and the 2010s.

I feel that @skizzerflake is also a potential host candidate.

Top 100 dog movies
Dude! I f'in love this.

I know you're probably joking or being silly, but... something tells me... this could work. First of all define dog movie to set the parameters of what qualifies and then go from there. Honestly, and being 100-percent genuine here, I truly think this could work or we could just expand this out to be pets or animals in general!

Why not!?

I WILL vote for a top animal films or MoFo animals countdown. I LOVE that idea, but I've always preferred the company of animals over people. The real question would be how to treat westerns... you know they do have lots of horses.

But just off the top of my head for dogs...

The Awful Truth
A Boy and His Dog
All Dogs Go to Heaven
The Wizard of Oz
I Am Legend
Marley and Me
The Dog (I think... it's an old Charlie Chaplin short film)
It's a Gift
The Little Rascals
The Killing (hey it counts!)
Umberto D (probably the GOAT when it comes to dog films or films that heavily feature dogs)
High Sierra

The more I think about it, the more I want this to happen, whether we frame this as dogs, pets, or animals.

My chocolate labs Etta and Izzy also love this idea too!

Sort of half joking. I'd love it but I doubt there'd be widespread interest.

I'm more about Cats, I could do Cats, maybe Cats and Dogs?

But I'll join in no matter the subject - I did look at a list I have (a top 500) and filtered that down to the 90s. I have 33 there, which includes a couple of miniseries... I'm unfamiliar with the rules, if minis are allowed, but it's okay if they aren't because that would be 2 I could take out, leaving me with 6 painful cuts to get to 25.

So yeah, I could whip up a 90s list with ease.

Who Wants to Host a 90s Countdown??? It's fun! Really easy to do and all of MoFo will be forever grateful. We could start the 90s Top 100 rolling if only some brave MoFo would come forward and volunteer.

This is how hosting will make you feel:

I think the most difficult part of hosting is the eligibility criteria. For decade lists, that's straightforward so hosting would be a breeze!

Yeah I can't host. I'm too unreliable. But yes, agree with CR and Thursday above, decade lists are a breeze to host, no controversy. Oh wait a minute. Oh no...
