I’m a lifelong movie fanatic and love talking cinema. My favorite movie is Goodfellas and my director is Martin Scorsese (natch).

I have a question. I’m learning how to navigate this site, but it’s a little difficult because I’m seriously visually impaired. Is there a way I can be notified if another member replies to a comment that I’ve posted on a particular discussion thread?

If they quote you like I am doing now, you should get a notification. You can also subscribe to threads, but I don't think you get notifications for that.

I should add that the thread subscriptions can email you when new replies go up, but ISPs are really aggressive about email blocking so there can be some issues with those not coming through. So, it depends on how you want to be notified and what your tolerance level is for that.

There are two other members here who've posted about having visual difficulties, maybe they have some pointers about easier navigating the site.

BTW, thank you for increasing your font size to normal in your last post. Your post above where you mention navigating the site, uses such small font that it can be hard for other people to read. I assume you're using Word to compose your messages, you might try increasing your font point size to 12 in Word that should be the same font size as MoFo's default size.

Citizen Rules, you are correct that I compose messages on Word and cut and paste into the message box. I selected my text and clicked on the “1” font size in the box but when I saw it was too small, I clicked on the “2” font size, and it appears to look okay.

I can read all your posts but it does look small.
When you 'paste' from Word.. try "Paste as plain text".. should make it the default size.
