Mofo ideas for new films

My earlier idea for a film was that there were clones of celebrities growing up in America.

I have had another idea though which is just a blank black screen, with audio.

or how about this for a new cinematic experience?

the audience watch a black screen for 30 minutes whilst sound effects, music and dialogue play.

everybody presses buttons as they experience this, which record their emotions.

the emotions recorded then generate a visual film, which after a short interval they then watch.
they can then if they wish stay and watch the movie that was created by yesterday's audience.

or make a sci-fi movie centred about an experience such as described above.

It's called "radio".

I always have ideas for films. And then I make them.

With ideas like these and your love for Alphaville, are you big into Sci-Fi?

And I really like to see Emma Stone in a serious, grounded crime drama/thriller set in modern times... maybe something by Safdies?

Same with Saoirse Ronan... maybe they can star together

There's a Swedish movie like this called Aniara from 2018 that's worth watching.

Emma Stone looks good as a femme fatale.

Here's a film I made.

I don't know, but I am ashamed of how attracted I am to Stone as I don't think she is really conventionally attractive.

She seems like an awesome person though and a great laugh, and I suspect would be absolutely wild and would short circuit my brain in a nanosecond.

It's not though, because you don't sit in a cinema with other people to listen to the radio.

I am specifically requiring the audience to watch the film, even though it has no visual content.

She's stunning.

But not conventionally stunning. That's all I'm saying.

They didn't find them boring. They found them poorly made. That's not the same thing. Sitting in a dark room with a blank, dark screen playing sound is not anyone's idea of a good time. Well... except yours, I guess. At least when you sit at home listening to the radio you can play cards or write a book or something.

How is that a bad thing? Why would someone need to look like everyone else to be attractive? Looking unconventionally attractive sounds great.

I think you're trying a little too hard to be "avant-garde." If that's your thing, though, my suggestion is to put these on paper first as stories. Find a copy of House of Leaves to get an idea of experimental writing.

Could also work for art classes.

Play an audio stream to the class, and they have to draw/paint what they were listening to.

You could make a movie out it if you wanted.

Basically any idea about anything can be made into a movie.
