Movie about people traveling in a space shuttle

I was wondering if any of you guys could help me locate a movie. I saw it when I was very young and would love to see it again but can’t find it anywhere. Of course, I don’t remember the title, I saw it so long ago.
Here's what I know (or remember) about the movie:
In terms of plot, I think it was about a group of people who are traveling in a space shuttle, and the shuttle crashes on a planet or a moon or something like that. (I think the captain is killed in the crash.) The only other thing I remember about the plot is that two of the passengers, a man and a woman, fall in love, and I think they get married (or at least engaged) at the end.
I obviously don’t know when this movie was released, but I’m pretty sure I was either three or four years old when I saw it. That would have been around 1984-1985, so the movie was made before then. Also, it wasn’t an old B&W or Technicolor movie. I think it was relatively contemporary, so my guess is that it was made either in the 1970’s or early 1980’s. Btw, at that time, we didn’t have a VCR yet, so my dad rented the movie and showed it on a projector, so my guess is it was a feature film and not a TV movie.
That’s all I remember. If you could help me locate this film, I will be eternally grateful.

So. What language did the characters speak? Was this live action or animated?
You say "Space Shuttle". There was a specific model of American spacecraft that was called a "Space Shuttle", this began testing in 1976. If this is what you mean, that might narrow down when the film was made. However, you might be using the term "Space Shuttle" more generically.
What was on this planet or moon that they crashed on? Was it just barren hills and canyons? Or was there, alien life, or what?

When I say “space shuttle,” I’m talking about the particular spacecraft that’s called a space shuttle. You know it’s funny, I’m pretty sure the title of the movie was actually “The Space Shuttle” but I looked it up on IMDB and didn’t find such a movie that would have been made in the correct timeframe (1977-1985).

Oh, I can’t remember. I saw this movie at least four decades ago when I was probably three or four. It’s a miracle I remember it at all. In my very hazy memory, I see a barren landscape, and I think the shuttle may have actually crashed on THE moon, but quote me there. And I’m pretty sure there were no aliens.

I hope this helps, but my guess is it probably won’t. I don’t think anyone will be able to find this movie.

This has to be Airplane II: The Sequel (1982):

Plot:

Heroic pilot Ted Striker agrees to return to the cockpit to man the controls of Mayflower One, America's first commercial spacecraft. But, as soon as Mayflower One lifts off, an electrical malfunction sends the ship veering off course. A shaken Striker struggles to guide the shuttle through a treacherous asteroid belt, tame its failing computer systems and stop the disgruntled Joe Seluchi from detonating a deadly bomb on board.

At the end, Ted and Elaine fall back in love and get married after the shuttle they are on lands safely on the moon.

I have seen Airplane II: The Sequel, and would never have guessed from the OP that that was the movie being searched for. I am genuinely impressed with Mikey2017 for figuring that out. The OP sent me off in a completely different direction!

Sorry about that. But in my defense, I hadn’t seen the movie in four decades, so my memory was a bit. Also, I did get some of the details right. There was a spacecraft, maybe not exactly a space shuttle but one that sort of resembled an SS. I was right about something bad happening and a man and woman falling in love and the craft landing on the moon.

No problem. The bit that was missing was the thing Sookie is always looking for. The fact that the genre was actually comedy. But you maybe didn't realize that when you were a child. I remembered that the plane looked like the Space Shuttle as soon as Mikey mentioned the movie.

Given how long ago I saw it and how young I was, not to mention the fact that Airplane II isn’t a high-profile movie like Return of the Jedi, it’s a wonder I remember it all. I can’t wait to see this movie again.
