RIP Bill Byrge, co-star of the "Ernest" franchise

As the security guard Bobby in "Ernest Goes to Jail", Bill Byrge was one of the funniest. Sadly, he died yesterday at the age of 92. After the death of longtime friend Jim Varney in 2000, he left acting and worked at a library.

Sad. I loved his silent but great facial moments in the Ernest films. Godspeed Bill.

Oh, yeah....that guy. I recall seeing those Ernest movies when my kids were kids, I have to admit that, in a weird way, I liked them. This guy was definitely part of that strange universe.
