I cant believe Im saying this because for many years I loathed the Buffalo Bills for knocking the Raiders out of the playoffs decades ago. The Raiders having just lost Bo Jackson (for good) the game before, and just ran up the score pitilessly on them. Afterward Buffalo destroyed their own stadium too in celebration.
Never forgave them! NEVER! I cheered like I was watching Rocky the first time when Scott Norwood missed thst field goal ensuring the Bills first Super Bowl loss. A year later I gleefully laughed as Jim Kelly was pulled off the football field in tears against Washington. Was glad to be able to depend on the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys for 2 more super bowl memories.
Its a different time now, all the old cast is gone. Now I just hope the Bills win it because they never have. God I hated that team though until the Brady/Wesker/Moss Patriots ran up the score mercilessly that one year, but thats for a different thread.

Bills score again. It ain't over but that's a hell of a first half.

Bills-Chiefs would be a tremendous AFC Championship. It's what I've been rooting for all year and whoever won the resulting stakes in the Super Bowl would be very cool and very interesting. Shame we won't get the same kind of epic showdown on the NFC side.

Buffalo has to play here. They will lose!

The weather will be in the 30s. Maybe we will get another random Arctic vortex and they have to play in very cold weather instead of mild weather.

I would say cold weather would favor Buffalo, since they're a better rushing team and Buffalo is a very cold climate.

I'd be very interested in seeing what the initial line would be. I'd say KC but only by a point or two.

I used to cover Cincinnati at work and both KC and Cin are 39N. I'm sure Buffalo is close as well, 42N. So not a big difference.

Last year, 2023, they played a hell of a game on Christmas day and it was below 0 windchill, just as last night.

Yeah, just as a football fan, hard not to root for another KC-Buffalo game just based on how incredible those games have been the last few years.

Also, you have to think about wind current on weather, so we could be extremely close. Buffalo does get a lot more snow than KC.

I have two coworkers in the Buffalo area, they usually keep to themselves during this time of the year.
