THE MOFO CHILL CLUB, DEUX

In my neighborhood, we have a luncheonette called The Hibernian Deli. It was opened by a Mexican family. That just cracked me up. The head of the family started out in construction and worked with a lot of Irish guys. So he decided to open a place that catered to homesick Irishman. The fare is Irish, American and Mexican. I used to love the chicken mole. It was very mild. But since the son has started cooking, it's gotten a little too spicy for me. I haven't been there in awhile. I imagine they are doing well because our Irish and Central American population has gotten larger.

Watching NOVA and a Norwegian seismitologist is talking about a earthquake in Japan cause tsunami type waves in a fjord..

working from home today. we got a lot of snow.

I'm watching Teacher's Pet (2025) on Tubi. Only 7 people have logged it on imdb and only 2 people on Letterboxd. It could be a hidden gem!

Just got back from donating blood, enjoying a cuppa joe ☕ and watching The Red Green Show with my son..


Taking him to see Dog Man (2025) later this afternoon. Bracing for another possible snowstorm later in the week ❄️

I'm so glad I work from.home.

We had a nice dinner last nite. We had to brave the snow. The Jeep Cherokee and snow tires came through.

I went to a movie theatre I had never been to before yesterday and saw I'm Still Here. It was a nice theatre and the movie was excellent.

Now, I'm watching Ever After. I think I saw it once years ago, but am not certain.

What's it about??

It's a true story about a woman in Brazil in the 70s whose husband is taken by the government. It got 3 Oscar nominations, including best picture.
