Hello, I'm a film nerd and have been looking for a forum to discuss films with fellow film nerds, and this site was recommended. I tried another site, but it was more of a politics flame fest disguised as a film site.


Hope this site is politics-free, and looking forward to discussing film, get suggestions for films to watch, and maybe suggest some for others to watch in return!

That's a tough one lol ...I go through revolving "phases" I guess you might say. Right now I'm watching a lot of (newer) foreign films. Matteo Garrone is my current obsession..


As far as genres, I love noir, psychological dramas, scifi/horror, and anything with a wilderness/outdoor,/road theme . Honestly, the only "category" I really don't care for are romcoms. Outside of that, I love the gamut, from High Plains Drifter to Alien to Eraserhead...
