What's going on with the avatars?

Something weird is going on with people's avatars. Whenever I go onto any page of any thread, everybody's posts have the same avatar - usually that of the first person to post on that page. But sometimes it's completely random. I'll post on a thread page with everybody having the same avatar, and then out of the blue I'll get something different, like a cat! I don't know if there's a problem with the website or with my library server, but it looks kind of weird.

EDIT: For example, right now my avatar looks like an underwater scene!

EDIT: Now I've got Pike Holden's avatar! WTH??? And after I've finished this edit, I'll bet you it'll change again!

My theory is that evil unicorns are responsible.

I have heard rumours that it is either demonic possession, the end of the world, the Matrix, or an April Fool's Day prank.

If a cute, furry animal is hungry, I feed them, day or night.

Is it fixed?

It's April Fool's tradition. If you're still around the forum on April 1st, 2026, expect more shenanigans with the avatars.
