Went to McDonald's and ordered 2 Big Macs, Large Fries, Large Coke (a Large #1 plus an extra Big Mac)

$18.28 ($16.88 before tax)

Unreal

Have a very Merry Christmas!

That's a lot of Big Macs.

I ate about half that order and took home the other half. For the last couple years or so I hardly ever eat out. Too $$$, even fast food.

I don't think I could handle that.

Actually I ate about half that order and took the rest home to eat later. I must admit it was pretty great. Love the Big Mac special sauce, I've never found a store-bought imitator that nails it.

I hardly ever eat out anymore. Too $$$

I would draw the line at the large fries. Make them medium, then we're talking

What Christmas movie should I watch next?
Toss up a coin between Black Christmas '74 and Terrifier 3.

Not lately

Why bother with McDonald's, anyway? Honestly, Taco Bell makes better burgers and they don't make burgers. You wanna pay $10 for a burger, go to In 'N' Out.

I like McDonald's, and I prefer Big Mac sauce to In-N-Out sauce (both roughly based open Thousand Island dressing). Truth be told I hardly ever eat out anymore. In-N-Out makes a great burger, but the place is perpetually jammed, and very loud.

You'd think that would be McDonald's that's perpetually jammed. Guess this shows quality over rep.

God now I want In 'n' Out, and I just spend my fast food money for the literal month on the three-piece Taco Bell special for me to split over three days.

But hey, pulled pork tonight. Maybe I'll find a burger bun or something.

This is McRib season, so I'm going to be getting a few while they last

I like grocery shopping. It's an escape for me. While I am wheeling my cart down the isles I am thinking about nothing but food, beverages, and cookery. The rest of the world (and all its troubles) is a million miles away. It is also decent exercise for me, it's a 1.5 mile (round trip) walk. I'm off...think I'll cook a steak for dinner tonight, and use the leftovers to make a pepper steak & rice lunch tomorrow.

Trouble with a capitial 'T'

1.5 miles walk, that's a big grocery store Grocery shopping use to be fun for me, when I had money and the stores went so crowded.

Sounds like my brother at Home Depot.
