No, I'm saying that I hate the look of it. I don't care if it's retro or not, neither did I bring the issue up. If you look back, you'll see my problem with the film isn't the animation, but the models.

Bill Murray isn't in it, it's a voice performance. I know I'm almost alone in this but, for me, seeing a film because someone you like voices a character is akin to seeing a film because one of the songs in the film is by your favourite artist.



I think the stop-motion makes this movie better, if it were jsut straight animation it wouldn't be Wes Anderson, he always makes great films with cinematography that is different. Plus I can't think of anyone else who can do dry humor like Wes.
